Care & Support Assistant Nights 17.25hrs – Residential Home
£9.15 – £10.15 per hour
About the role
We have a 17.25 hours per week contract available for a Care and Support Assistant to work in our beautifully kept residential home.
Night shifts 7pm – 7am, various nights of the week to be discussed at interview.
At Guild House we specialise in supporting older people, living with or without dementia, to live full and independent lives where possible.
Our care and lifestyle plans are tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents which makes this a varied role, with opportunities to a make positive impact through enabling residents to live well and engage with activities, family and friends.
You will support the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of our residents by:
Assisting residents with day to day living tasks
Providing physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and activities with residents
Monitoring resident’s wellbeing and health and maintaining care plans.
Generally promoting our residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect
Delivering the very best standards of care
Engaging with a comprehensive induction and on-going training and development
Minimum of six months experience in providing adult care
Have an NVQ/QCF 2 in Health and Social Care
Be conscientious, flexible and dependable
Able to interact with a cheerful demeanour
Able to work within a team
Have a passion for supporting older people to enjoy life
